TEXAS HISTORY PROJECT
My walk across Texas would be a hard journey or expedition. It would probably start from Houston and end in El Paso. First day I got everything ready in my bag.
1. Sleeping bag
2. Clothes
3. 150$
4. My Dog Trip (he is a germen shepherd)
I got the keys of the car and open the engines. My first destination was to Austin. It’s about two hours. After an hour and a half I had refill my fuel so I refilled it. That cost was about 35$. Then I continued my way and I saw the Colorado River. I was away from Austin 15 minutes and the climate was hot. And it was by 5:00. I was hungry so I stopped at McDonald’s to get a burger. And rest there. I stayed there and stopped at a motel to sleep for night. I was hungry and Trip was too. So I got outside until I saw about 3 lizards. I killed them and then got some rocks and robbed them together to make a fire and cook it. I ate 1.5 Trip too. And got to my room and slept for the night. I got in the morning and I would probably go to Bryan station and stop at Waco. So I went there until I went there and stopped at desert to find cow. I saw one so I killed it and cooked it. I was in Bryan station right now. I didn’t stop there but I continued my way to temple I had to refill the fuel. When I stopped at temple it was raining and in the night. The bad news is a driver crashed my car and run away. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I walked and walked and Trip was about to fall I saw a bike sell place. The bikes was about 50$ and I had 60$ left. So what to do I bought the bike and moved a mile until I felt sleepy. I stopped nearby a desert and opened my sleeping bag and slept until I woke up. It was really weird like about 50 lizards around me. I killed them ate two and trip ate three. And moved by my bike till Waco. I ate two lizards without trip seeing me when I was looking at hip I crashed a big rock and my bike got into two halves. I stayed at my place until a guy saw me and told that he wants to explore Texas and

I see myself laying down and looking at the sky. It looked like I was in heaven. When I got up I saw a house. I went inside and saw a paper. It said that my mission is to kill the Ender Dragon. I didn't know a thing about Ender Dragon. I searched the house and looked at the world. the world was made up of blocks. Not one block or two blocks. Thousands of them. Haphazardly I realized that I was in mine-craft. A game that I used to play this game when I was seven years old. I thought that it was only a dream, so I tried to wake myself up. But I couldn't. I still thought that it was a dream and went with it. Near me was a waterfall and some chickens. I went in my house. There was a chest, laying there, and I opened the chest. When I opened…

I looked around and saw a small dirt road that lead away from the beach inland. I decided to take the road, not realizing what was in store for us. As I am cruising down the dirt path with the Mexican music blaring loudly, drowning out the buzz of the motor. All of a sudden the ATV died. As we sit there with the music still playing, looking around at each other with huge eyes, we were able to get it restarted. At this point that should have been our que to turn around and head back, but we continued on. This happened a couple more times but at this point we were miles from the beach. We weren’t too worried yet as we could see our hotel in the far distance. It was now my friends turn to drive and we at this point realized that we could not let up on the gas pedal as it would die again. We turned down another dirt road, this time being a little larger than the last dirt path. We soon found ourselves driving past a property that looked like a compound. There was a tall fence wrapped in flesh tearing barbed wire. There were about 3 or 4 out building and as we got closer there were a group of men standing in the yard waving at us. When out of nowhere two very large, aggressive pit bulls appear. They were running at us with great speed, saliva dripping from their mouths as they were quickly catching us. They were so close that I could have reached out and touched one or they could have easily ripped my arm off. Luckily the ATV did not die on us at this point. With the gas pedal mash we slowly gained distance between these grossly angry…

As a parent, do you really want to put your child at risk of death because of the lack of driving skills? Or even as a teenager, do you want to end your life early because you don’t know the proper rules of the road? I don’t think a teenagers life should ever be in danger because they aren’t sure how to do a correct left turn going into oncoming traffic, or how to yield at a yield sign. The driving age should be raised to eighteen so teens are more responsible, mature, and ready to take on a very dangerous task that they will continue doing the rest of their life.…

On this personal issue i do not agree with changing the minimum driving age. Many teens look forward to getting to drive. It wouldn't be the right thing to do. No i don't think the minimum driving age should be changed. If are legislature changed the minimum driving age we would have to have a lot more transportation for schools. Students wouldn't be aloud to drive to school. If are legislature changed the driving age they would be taking away the only freedom they have. It would also be hard for parents to get there kids from after school activity's. Some parents need there kids to be able to run places for them lick picking up siblings. They also may need them to go to the store to pick things up for them. They…

In my response the driving age should not be raised. This concern has been a problem then and still is today. The Driving age should not be raised , one reason is 16 or 17 year olds drive everywhere in case of emergencies , for work , school and we shouldn’t take that away from them. If the 16 year old or 17 year old are trying to drive they at least should have a permit and should require it so that if they get stopped by a patrolling officer they know if they have the privilege to drive or not and should get fine if they are caught without a permit. It’s important to learn how to drive at an early age because it can really help if their is some type of emergency throughout the family and they need to drive to the hospital or a parent can’t drive anymore and needs to be driven.…

For sixteen years, teenagers look forward to the day they get the ultimate freedom: driving, but with this freedom there comes risks. Every day another life is lost to teen driving. Along with risking their lives, teenagers are also not mentally prepared to handle the consequences that could come with driving. They are not only putting their life at risk, but the lives of others. No mother or father wants to bury their child, and this would be less likely if the driving age was raised. The legal driving age should be raised to save lives and have more mature drivers on the road.…

Do the ages driving matter? The majority of young people do not take anything seriously and they are irresponsible and unwise. Learning to drive is seen as an exciting and necessary experience in everyone’s lives. Everybody has the right to feel safe while driving, as detective Kollerer states “The insurance for teenagers are more expensive” because teens are more likely to cause a car accident. Letting a teen drive could be dangerous if they are not responsible while driving.…

I was woken up by a sound of galloping horses so I went outside too look and it was a coach, I ran to the coach and the man hopped out to feed his horses so I snuck into the storage and stole some bread and water I knew it came from a different part of egyptus because only egyptus exported bread. Teenage accident rates and mortality rates have increased dramatically over the years. Nothing that the parents do and law enforces will protect the teens all the time, especially from themselves. Teenagers do not realize the responsibility that comes with driving. They are often distracted with other things such as texting while driving. Most importantly, parents always worry about the safety of their kids on the road. Some people may say that the driving age should stay at the age of 16; however, raising the driving age to 18 will create safer and more responsible drivers. Firstly, teenagers are very careless. In addition, increasing the minimum driving age will allow teenagers more time to get comfortable with driving. Finally, the number of fatal accidents will be reduced. Therefore, the minimum driving age should be raised from 16 to 18.…

It was around nine a.m. on a crisp spring morning when I decided to go on a hike. I drove over to our public hiking trail and parked by the “Ruby hiking trail’ entrance. I got out of my car and grabbed my backpack that had my water bottle, salad, sweatshirt, and blanket in it. As I was walking down the trail, I heard birds singing, trees creaking, deer running, rabbits hopping, and a light breeze. About an hour into the hike, I started to get hungry. However, it was only about ten a.m. and I was hungry for lunch. I kept hiking down the trail so I could find a place to lay out my blanket. As I was walking I saw a sign that said “12 miles”, that meant that I had already walked twelve miles in one hour. After passing the sign, there was an open…

Changing the minimum age for driving will change people’s lives drastically. Many teens who look forward to driving when they turn 16, will be forced to rely on their parents to get around for 2 more years. Most parents don’t have the time to drive their kid everywhere they need to go, which, will make teens less likely to get a job. Teens will be given less responsibility at a younger age so they won’t be as responsible when they turn 18. I believe that changing the minimum driving age from 16 to 18 will not benefit as many people as leaving it the same.…

According to the Healthresearchfunding.org site, there are fewer drunk driving traffic accidents and fatalities in many countries with a minimum drinking age of 18. This is a statistic which is supporting lowering the drinking age. This is showing how there is a drop in numbers of people who are involved in drunk driving accidents because their drinking age is 18. When you lower the drinking age, it makes the urge and temptation of alcohol not as high. When they are able to start drinking at a younger age, they are able to learn how to maintain a healthy balance of the substance. Also, when something is so readily available to them there is not as high as a craving for it. Lowering the drinking age while raising the driving age also gives…
