Do the ages driving matter?The majority of young people do not take anything seriously and they are irresponsible and unwise. Learning to drive is seen as an exciting and necessary experience in everyone’s lives. Everybody has the right to feel safe while driving, as detective Kollerer states “The insurance for teenagers are more expensive” because teens are more likely to cause a car accident. Letting a teen drive could be dangerous if they are not responsible while driving.
Being a teenager with a lot of responsibilities is not easy. As a teen, before learning how to drive we need to learn the rules of the road. Adolescences are easily distracted by social media, texting, Facebook, snapchat, and YouTube with can lead to a mortal experience in someone’s life. Learning to drive is important for everyone. I am 17 years old and I am learning how to drive is exciting and necessary to go to school. In my experience, I want to learn all the driving rules to be the best prepared. I waited a long time because I did not feel ready to drive a car but the time came to learn and I want to take precautions not to cause an accident. Now I get the car but that does not mean that I know how to drive because I still need to learn the signs or speed limit. To conclude not everyone feels the same way, there are people who star to drive really young but not all of them are responsible and careful.
There have been car accidents that end in death.
In the article “MINN.TEEN CHARGED IN FATAL TEXTING WHILE DRIVING CRAS.” A 17 years old girl was charged with homicide. CBS NEWS explain that Carlee Rose Bollig was driving while using her cell phone. Bollig plays a video and she did not want to stop using her phone. The passengers told her to focus while driving, she completely ignores the light and the fatal crash occurs. As a matter of fact, there are teenagers that are irresponsible and they can cause mortal damages for not being responsible and careful.
Being 18 years old or more it does not mean that they are responsible. I have friends that are 18-20 years old and they are irresponsible while driving. They drink and drive and they are conscious that it can occur an accident but they continue doing it. Also, they like to drive faster and they don’t respect the speed limit and they still have a license. There are young people that are more responsible than older people. As a result, the ages do not matter because older people could be more irresponsible that young
people.
Everyone mature at different ages, it depends on the responsibility of the teen and everyone tends to act differently. Detective. KOLLERER it does not matter if you have a license that does not mean that you are ready to drive with precautions and with responsibility. However being older does not mean that you are responsible.
