Tips to Bath Your Cat Without Out Getting Clawed to Death

Many people believe that their cats do not need to be bathed as they lick themselves. The true is that cats do need to have baths. Now before you run for the hills, there is ways to bath your cat without being clawed to death. While, you do not need to bath your cat as offer as you would need any of pets, they still need to bathed every once and a while. Another highly believed myth about cats is they all hate getting wet. Some cats do hate getting wet, others enjoy getting in the tub, and taking baths. Here are some tips to help you bath your cat.

Get Everything You Are Going To Need

The first thing you need to do when you need to bath your cat is to have everything you are going to need within arms reach of the tub or sink. The worst thing when you are bathing a cat is needing to leave the room, once the animal is wet. Most times you will return and your cat is going have taken off, leaving a wet trait behind. So what are you going to need when you are planning to bath your cat? You are going to need towels, cat safe shampoo, a comb, a brush if your cat has long hair, a container for rinsing, and a rubber mat if your tub is not textured in the base to make sure that your cat is able to stand and not slip.
