Based on article I read by Catherine Hare,I know that the growth in the volume of records and developments in technology and business practice is changing the role of records managers. Technology has given users greater power in records creation with a consequent risk of falling standards and possible disastrous failures of systems. The necessary analysis of existing processes before implementing systems based on new technologies can in itself show how improvements can be achieved even without changing the technology. Most of people define it as a co-ordinated programme of appropriate standards and procedures for the effective control of records and records systems from their creation to their disposal. But society and library have their own opinion. But now days some of people have a responsibility to creating record. Technology has given a power to user on creating record but have the risk. Analysis will study prior to using the new technology to prove that it can be done without the use of new technologies. These things make the managers into trouble and require them to introduce and use these technologies.
