I. The first step to breaking in a baseball glove is to apply a conditioner.
A. First choose what conditioner you are going to use.
i. There are 3 types of conditioners.
a. Foam
b. Oil
c. Cream
ii. Besides these conditioners listed, there are some treatments that you should never use.
a. You should never use water
b. You should never use a heat treatment
B. Prior to applying the conditioner, make sure the glove is clean by wiping the glove with a damp cloth
C. Apply the conditioner with your hands or a sponge evenly covering the entire glove

A. place a baseball/softball in the pocket of the glove
B. Wrap the glove with a bootlace or rubber band
