Lastly, he writes, “And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me, and I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today, cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land, God Bless the USA.” This line in was song was brilliant.
It goes to show that we are free because of the men who went to war and fought for our freedom. It also hints on my pathos because I love the fact he basically says we need to be out there fighting for our freedom because we love this land. And, when he says God Bless the USA, wow, it just its me right in the heart. Now, I’m not going to go fight in any wars but I will stand and support my
country. The reason I chose this song is because it always has an impact on me and my everyday thoughts and actions. When I think of this song it reminds me of my childhood. My brother and sister used to make fun of me for singing this all the time. At the end of the song there is a dramatic symbol crash, that was always my favorite. My siblings would always pretend to do the symbol way to early and it made me upset, they thought it was hilarious. When I was in 5th grade they came to my choir concert and we just happened to sing this song, and they stood up in the crowd and hit that imaginary symbol and I was so upset, I was laughing really hard and got in trouble. Still to this day when the song plays they always make fun of me.
