In Shakespeare’s, Macbeth, the character lady Macbeth appears as an innocent woman, when in reality she is corrupt and evil, revealing that things are not always how they seem. As Lady Macbeth says “That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, and fill me, from the crown to the toe, top-full of direst cruelty!” This shows how she is starting to fall apart.
