Graphalogical Deviation
Graphological Deviation By graphology is meant the encoding of meaning in visual symbols. Deviation at this level seems to be much more interesting, but has been sadly neglected in literary discussions in the past. Graphological deviation can occur in any sub-area of graphology, such as the shape of the text, the type of print, grammetrics, punctuation, indentation, etc. Graphological Deviation, is the deviation in which poets disregard the rules of writing. They write the words in such a way without any boundaries in lines, space, or rhymes. Over the course of this assignment , we will chiefly consider deviation in the first three sub-areas, since we will obviously be unable to examine all of them. * Shape of Text: The shape of a piece of literary work, especially a poem, can be designed in an unconventional way so that it may be suggestive of a certain literary theme. The shape of the poem strikes us as most unusual because it is not like that of a conventional poem. When we look more closely at the wording, and use some imagination, we may begin to speculate on why the poet has designed the poem in this way. We become able to appreciate the uniqueness and the originality of the poet's design. The text looks very much like a bull's eye or a target with a series of concentric circles. Most interestingly, the lexical items in the poem support this interpretation. Each circle from the outside to the inside represents a progression in the degree of seriousness of injury. The interpretation of this type of poetry depends much on what the poem looks like. * Type of Print: Literary writers also choose to express their ideas by manipulating the type of print which may include italics, bold print, capitalization and decapitalization, etc. In the following, we will look at a poem in which the poet expresses a unique meaning by deliberate capitalization and de-capitalization of the pronouns in the poem, Me up at does. Me up at does out of the

Variance Analysis is utilized to support the management during the initial stages. It is the procedure of investigating each variance between the actual and budgeted costs to determine the reasons as to why the planned amount was not met, in more detailed explanation (Ventureline, 2012). There are several influences that contribute to the variance report and one is the department’s assumptions, second is the possible risk for this assumption, and third is the actual expense used for the budget. Let’s say the CEO or Director announces the monthly budget that the department needs to meet. Once the department receives the monthly budget outcomes, the budget for supplies was not properly utilized; therefore the salary is higher than the premeditated budget.…

Distinctly visual texts through various techniques depict an environment with great clarity so that to allow the audience to picture a vivid mental image just the way the composer intended it. A couple of examples of distinctly visual texts are the famous play “the Shoe-Horn Sonata” which uses lighting, project images, music, and the use of Japanese language and customs. A text doesn’t have to display pictures or play pictures to paint a picture for its audience or to be distinctly visual. Douglas Stewart’s poem “Lady Feeding the Cats” uses emotive language, visual imagery and poetic devices to assist the reader to understand the circumstances surrounding an old lady and the stray cats she feeds.…

Literature has long been difficult to understand, an author’s use of rhetoric can be analyzed to have many different significances as well as meanings. Poetry is particularly difficult to analyze, thus many writers and critics have created their own arguments for the meaning of different pieces. As literary critics and scholars ourselves, we in this English 100W class must determine what arguments we find valid, and which arguments give us deeper insight on pieces that we read and study.…

In constructing a poem the author must consider the way in which the message will be established, therefore they must make specific choices using poetic devices to convey the meaning to the reader. In poetry the author makes use of sound devices, rhyme, imagery, typography and language to construct the meaning of the text. Examples of the use of literary devices to construct meaning can be seen in the poem ‘Anthem for Doomed Youth’ by Wilfred Owen - a sonnet illustrating the horrors of war, and ‘Digging’ by Seamus Heaney that explores the gaps between the aspirations of an individual and the expectations of their heritage.…

Humans are descendents of other animals. I believe that over time animals change to fit the needs of their environments, and that is how after a long span of time humans came to be. Humans could be described as super-domesticated animals because they act like other domesticated animals. Humans are superior because they have more power and are more advanced than the other domesticated animals.…
