Why is it great to be Canadian? Diversity, freedom, opportunity, education, heath care, peace, democratic community, geography. This is just a small portion of things you think of when you hear Canadian or Canada. To some we may seem to be an essential country but to those who know us, we are friendly, hardworking, educated people living in a highly developed society.
Canada is the greatest country in the world to live in because everyone in Canada has the right to free primary and secondary education, making Canada the highest level of school educated children. To make a living anywhere in the world you need to make money, to make money you need to attain a job, and the best job opportunity's come to those who are highly educated. Canada is great because of the freedom we receive. Canada has a Constitution Act that was created in the year 1982 that states the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, meaning all Canadian's have equal rights and freedoms. Health Care makes Canada distinct from many other countries, every citizen has free health care that is delivered through a publicly funded care system. A health card is given to all Canadian’s by the Provincial Ministry of Health and everyone receives the same level of care. Canadians are proud of the land because it's strong, bold and beautiful; Canada accepts multiculturalism for what it is no matter on colour, sexual preference or religion. The people are kind, generous and helpful, giving to those in need through charity, is just one way of giving back Canadian’s do on a regular basis. I believe being Canadian is great because we receive free health care, free primary and secondary education, we're peacekeepers, there's always opportunity, and the freedoms and rights.
