Cause of the Green House Effect

There are several causes that lead to the environmental condition known as the green house effect which include the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and population growth. The green house effect is rising in temperature over the years because green house gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun.
The first cause in rise of green house gases is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. The burning of fossil fuels is used in manufacturing, transportation, and heating and powering. Burning Fossil fuels increase carbon dioxide gases which in turn traps the suns heat in the atmosphere.
Secondly deforestation adds to the rise in green house gases. Deforestation is the clearing of trees for other gages such as farming, homes, wood, paper and Etc… Trees act like a flitter they clean and rid air of carbon dioxide threw the process know as photosynthesis. Deforestation increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere leading to the green house effect.
Thirdly, Population growth is an indirect contributor and one of the major causes of the greenhouse effect. With the increase in population, the needs and wants of people increase. This increases the manufacturing and the industry process. This results in the increase of the release of industrial gases which catalyze the greenhouse effect. In conclusion the green house effect is caused by man/civilization and mans’ increasing need for fossil fuels and trees. The greenhouse effect is manmade and leads to the condition of global warming. To decrease of the rise of temperature we need to lower man’s dependence on fossil fuels, minimize deforestation, and mange population growth. The reduction of these causes well lowers the effect of global warming and the cycle of the green house effect.

An important issue affecting the world today is climate change due to the increase in the amount of greenhouse gases that is released into the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases are gases that accumulate in the atmosphere due to human activity and the earth's natural biological and chemical processes. The four major greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide , methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, 2011). The main contributing factor to climate change is the abundance of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Due to the burning of fossil fuels, solid waste, trees, and other chemical reactions carbon dioxide is absorbed into the atmosphere enhancing the greenhouse effect.…

Global warming is when the earth heats up and the temperature rises. This is caused by green house gases trap heat and light from the sun in the earth’s atmosphere which in turn causes the temperature to increase. Examples of these greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide and nitrous oxide. (library.thinkquest.org, 2011).…

Glaciers are melting, sea levels are rising, forests are drying and wildlife is suffering, these are all results of the apparent rise in global temperatures and it has become more obvious that humans over centuries are releasing harmful heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere known as greenhouse gases. The greenhouse effect causes the increase in global temperature as the gases which are released into the atmosphere allow light to be entered, but prevents heat from escaping.…

The Greenhouse Effect: This describes the purpose of a backyard green house, essentially trapping heat and moisture in a confined space to mimic a tropical climate. The thing is that a backyard greenhouse can be regulated, how do you regulate a planet sized greenhouse? When humans burn fossil fuels, they release greenhouse gasses like carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gases like chlorofluorocarbons, hydrochlorofluorocarbons, and halons. These gasses can take anywhere from a few years to thousands of years to dissipate in the atmosphere. Once released; these gasses act as insulators or blankets that trap these gasses in out atmosphere preventing heat from escaping the atmosphere and forcing temperatures to rise, but it doesn’t stop here. As temperatures rise, our polar ice caps at both of the poles have lost a significant amount of their mass; this causes desalinization, disrupted currents and their carrying of warm / cool air transfers from one region of the planet to another.…

Since the time of the Industrial Revolution, human activities have polluted the air with large amounts of greenhouses gasses. These gasses are thick covering the Earth in the atmosphere creating and trapping more heat on Earth’s surface; this is known as the greenhouse effect. While the greenhouse effect is needed to support life on Earth, a continuous buildup of these gasses becomes harmful. Greenhouses gasses come from burning fossil fuels, deforestation, industrial processes, and some agriculture practices. When the carbon dioxide is released by these activities it is trapped in the lower part of the troposphere heating the surface of the Earth thus creating global warming. The most significant greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide; it can cause the most substantial increase in temperature.…

Lot of gas in the air causes a large amount heat to be engrossed into the atmosphere also the heat of the sun’s energy warmth the world’s atmosphere. This Enhanced Green House effect experiment is to demonstrate that earth's heat may be increasing because of the atmosphere in earth. The history of the game of basketball is unique to other sports. Instead of the game gradually developing into a sport over time, the invention of basketball was immediate. In eighteen-ninety-one, when a local YMCA gave him the task of creating a game for students, James Naismith designed a game he named “basketball”. From there, the game quickly grew into a national and worldwide phenomenon. Only forty-five years later, in nineteen-thirty-six, basketball was introduced to the Olympics games. Founded in nineteen-forty-nine, the National Basketball Association, a collection of professional men’s teams, became the nation’s hallmark league. Finally, the WNBA (Women’s National Basketball Association) was created in nineteen-ninety-six. Now, basketball…

Some of the gases in our atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, trap heat from the sun reflecting of the earth 's surface, keeping the earth warm. This is called natural green house gas effect. However human activities such as burning of fossil fuels are increasing the concentration of these gases in the atmosphere. These accidental gases are enhancing the green house effect which I know as global warming. The major green house gases include carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen and water vapour.…

The 'greenhouse effect' takes place when certain gases in the atmosphere of the earth trap heat. The term 'greenhouse' is used because light is allowed to reach the earth, but most of the heat generated is not allowed to escape, just as in a greenhouse. The more the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, the more heat will be trapped within the earth's atmosphere, causing average earth temperatures to rise.…

The enhanced greenhouse effect is effect caused by human activity. Enhanced greenhouse has helped increase earth’s temperature and has created more carbon dioxide. Some things that are enhanced greenhouse are burning fossil fuel, factories and deforestation. Burning fossil fuel contributes to global warming because fossil fuels are a mixture of carbon. They tend to release lots of carbon dioxide into the air. Factories also contribute to global warming because some factories require to burn fossil fuel or coal.…
