Cause of the Green House Effect
There are several causes that lead to the environmental condition known as the green house effect which include the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and population growth. The green house effect is rising in temperature over the years because green house gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun.
The first cause in rise of green house gases is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas. The burning of fossil fuels is used in manufacturing, transportation, and heating and powering. Burning Fossil fuels increase carbon dioxide gases which in turn traps the suns heat in the atmosphere.
Secondly deforestation adds to the rise in green house gases. Deforestation is the clearing of trees for other gages such as farming, homes, wood, paper and Etc… Trees act like a flitter they clean and rid air of carbon dioxide threw the process know as photosynthesis. Deforestation increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere leading to the green house effect.
Thirdly, Population growth is an indirect contributor and one of the major causes of the greenhouse effect. With the increase in population, the needs and wants of people increase. This increases the manufacturing and the industry process. This results in the increase of the release of industrial gases which catalyze the greenhouse effect. In conclusion the green house effect is caused by man/civilization and mans’ increasing need for fossil fuels and trees. The greenhouse effect is manmade and leads to the condition of global warming. To decrease of the rise of temperature we need to lower man’s dependence on fossil fuels, minimize deforestation, and mange population growth. The reduction of these causes well lowers the effect of global warming and the cycle of the green house effect.
