have started to make peace with the past and that they hope for the future. Hope is built just as the Tower One rises.
People are regaining their hope because they see that life has not just been taken, but that it grows back stronger and better than ever. Faith and hope are built higher as Americans realize that the world has not stopped completely and that others are not showing fear at the challenge ahead of encouraging people to stop fearing the same mistakes that were made but instead that the future is bright. The ten year anniversary goal was meant to instill aspiration that we honor the fallen and rebuild better for the future generations. Yet it shows that America does not forgive nor do we forget, hope cannot be taken away and the future’s still bright, as bright as the light reflecting off of Tower One signaling that you are
home. Rebuilding honors those that died, the memorial with all the victims names on it represent that we respect them. Americans see the museum that was built on the remains of the twin towers as a way to show and honor those who were unfortunate enough to not be able to escape. United States citizens recognize that the height of the building represents the date the U.S. was given birth. The date that the Freedom Tower was complete represents the ten year anniversary of 9/11/01 it symbolizes rebirth and that those who died were not forgotten. The names on the memorial represent the American people’s respect for those who did not subsist through the onslaught.
America shows that they will not forget the deceased. American citizen’s silence at the moment that 9/11 occurred signifies their respect of not only those that died but those that lost a family member, a friend, or a loved one. America will not forgive nor will it forget this tragedy that befell our country. It does not give up hope, and its citizens know that this country is more resilient than ever. To America the date 9/11 conveys the change of the perspective of the world.
