Have you ever had a single moment when you think, “ Everything’s different now. I’m grown up.”? Most people grow up too soon and they become “boring”. Some people grow up later in life . They have a hard time being serious. Others grow up at a gradual pace. These people are more mature than their peers but still enjoy whatever life throws at them. They go with it and don’t try to force growth (thus they would become “boring”). I feel as if I’m part of the last group. I can be serious but I still like to have fun. That is what I believe being mature really is.

I think to myself, “ I will not get caught of in the ways of popularity and cliques and just go along with it. I will stay true to myself.” I know most people think hanging out with your family is “Uncool”, but the truth is, that families help you stay true to yourself. They help you keep and obtain good morals and habits. I know my family has helped be grow and become the “real” me.

We all received the name and gear of the horse we were supposed to ride. As the girls went to saddle up the became louder and louder. They were trying to talk over one another. Now G and I knew, since a storm was coming in, the horses were going to be jittery. We decided to help each other tack up. As we passed
