Because of the Muslims concern about on their responsibility to consume halal products based on Islamic requirement so that will affect the demand of halal food and halal services. To meet the demand from the market, the restaurants and retailers are making their food products to meet halal criteria for the Muslims population (Eardley, 2014). In Quran, there are clearly outlines which foods are halal and which is not, they should avoid, if they not follow, will consider as haram. The source of food is easy to differentiate the foods is halal or haram. Halal food products such as plants, land animals, aquatic animals that not poisonous and hazardous to people. Haram food products such alcohol, pork products or contain pork, blood and blood by product. Besides that, the major difference between halal and haram is the way of slaughtering the animals. According to Quran, the animals have to cut through jugular vein, carotid artery and windpipe by using a sharp knife in single swipe and the blood must be drained out from the carcass.
