The song I will be analyzing and performing is Halo. This song is written and performed by Beyonce. This song is mainly about someone she loves. I chose this song because I think it has a very great meaning. I believe this song is a metaphor signifying a woman who got her heart broken and she built walls to protect herself. Then she meets a guy who breaks the walls and builds her trust. This song uses a variety of figurative languages. One figurative language is “remember those walls I built,” which is an example of an idiom because what shes saying is not taken literally.     One truth, is that in military service, it is always important to be on time and at the right place, and never late. Different organizations have different definitions of ‘on time’. Prior to coming to Bravo three-thirteen, my last unit was happy with everyone being five minutes early to any formation.
