Introduction Paragraph
Do you know about hammurabi's code.Hammurabi is a king who ruled babylon.Hammurabi's code are laws he made to protect his people.The purpose of his code was to protect his people.Hammurabi's code is just for two reasons creation of the codes and property laws.
Body Paragraph 1
Examples of just laws can first be found in the area of property law. Document D says
“if a man has borrowed money to plant his fields and a storm has flooded or carried away his crops in that year he does not have to pay his creditor”.In my own words this means that if someone bporrows money from someone and his crops fooded or carried away by a flood he doesnt have to pay the person.This evidence says that hammurabis code is just because it wasnt the persons fault that his crops were carried away.In document D it says …show more content…
that “if the robber is not caught the man who has been robbed shall formally declare whatever he has lost before a god and the city and the mayor in whose territory the robbery has been committed shall replace whatever he has lost”. This means that if a person gets robbed and the robber is not found the city and the mayor has to pay for the things he lost.This evidence says that hammurabis code was just because he is getting his things back.In conclusion this paragragh was about hammurabi and his code.Hammurabis code was just because he gave people things that they lost.This is important for people to know because some people think he was mean and unjust.

Examples of just laws can first be found in the area of creation of the codes.According to document A if “the carving at the top of the stele shows hammurabi standing before shamash the god of just”.This means that the god was telling hammurabi something.This evidence says hammurabi's codes is just because he was the god of just and he made the laws.Document A says that if “in which hammurabi lists the names of the gods saying that they gave him the right to rule”.This means that the gods think he is a just man and deserves the right to rule.This evidence says that hammurabis code is just because the gods gave him the right to rule and the gods saw the laws and it was okay.In conclusion this paragraph is talking about just laws.Hammurabis code was just because the gods gave him the right to rule.
Conclusion In conclusion, there are just laws in Hammurabi’s Code. These laws are just because he gave people things back and the gods gave him the right to rule.It is also just because he said people dont have to pay people back if there plants were
