Handling of Medication Policy and Codes of Practice
It is a priority for all health and social care professionals to comply with the medication policy and codes of practice with the administering of medication to Mr. B. According to NHS (2010) medication policy is a required and a necessity for the safety and securing the handling of medicines. It is mandatory for all care professionals to have the knowledge and the skills or the proper level of training before administering medication to Mr. B. In addition, the medication policy must stipulate of how to order dispose, administer, store and record medicine.
