Harassment Case Summary
On April 15, 2016 at approximately 0405 hours, I was dispatched to 977 Patton St for a report of harassment.
Upon arrival, I spoke to Diane Darecangelo (reporting person) who stated that her neighbor Anthony Wright (suspect) used offensive coarse language towards on her and yanked her head phone out from her hands on April 11, 2016 over four dollars she owed him. Darecangelo stated that Wright's behavior was alarming to her and that she wanted to file a police report because there was no reason for him to be so mad over four dollars.
Jayson Megron (involved party) advised me that Wright’s medication changed to new one recently and Megron stated that Wright gets upset easily but never been physically violent. Megron showed me Michelle Newsome's
(witness) incident report from April 11, 2016 which described the above incident with both Darecangelo and Wright’s side’s story.
I spoke to Wright who stated that he already spoke to a police officer and APS about the same incident on April 12, 2016 (INC#16023810). Wright stated that he was upset because Darecangelo promised to pay him back the night before the incident on April 10, 2016 but never answered his phone call nor paid him back.
It should be noted that Wright was diagnosed with irritability, agitation, and angry outburst, stage 2 hallucinations, disorganization and Darecangelo was diagnosed with Mania, Delusion of Grandeur and sleeplessness and they are both on medication and see Psychiatrist in regular basis.
