Introduction
As we have learned in our study course, a database is a collection of information that is organized so that it can easily be accessed, managed, and updated. These databases can be easily classified into varying types of content according to the needs of the organization. Typical types of contents include bibliographic, full-text, numeric, and images.
In today’s modern society, information is essential to all our daily operations and try as we might there is no escaping the usage of database. There are literally billions of data stored in all the databases storing all sorts of information from government files to company employee records to consumer shopping habits.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Associate, CHAL/WWF, will assist in implementation of monitoring framework and activities of Hariyo Ban project in close coordination with the M&E Specialist and CHAL WWF Team. Under the direct technical supervision of the M&E Specialist, s/he will be primarily responsible for maintaining and updating the database system in close coordination with the CHAL program units and field office; and, implement various M&E activities mentioned in the Annual Work Plan (CHAL/WWF) in coordination with Hariyo Ban consortium partners in CHAL.M&E Associate CHAL (WWF) will be responsible for maintaining database of Hariyo Ban/WWF. She/he should enter all Hariyo Ban related data in the database software in coordination with WWF implementing partners in the district. S/he should ensure that the Hariyo Ban data have good quality, are complete and timely entered in the database. She/he will conduct periodic data quality assessments (DQA) of the implementing partners to ensure that the data are properly recorded and meet set standards and prepare DQA
