Harley Quinn Character Analysis
The latest Suicide Squad Blitz trailer may have been loads of fun and action, but was there also a hint that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn may have decided not to put on the character’s jester costume from Batman: The Animated Series? Some fans may have discovered that Harley could have worn the iconic suit in the film, but opted for a more skin-baring outfit!
Reddit user eobardthawne42 has thoroughly dissected the new Suicide Squad trailer, especially the show-stopping scene showing Harley changing into a tiny baseball T-shirt and shorts as the rest of Task Force X look on. One of the still reveals that Harley may have checked and discarded one particular outfit beside a luggage, and it looks like a red and black jester costume similar to the one the character wore when she first debuted in BTAS alongside The Joker.

Unlike other Batman villains, Harley did not originally appear in the comic books. The character was introduced as The Joker’s sidekick in Batman: The Animated Series and proved to be so popular that she was eventually added to the comics.
Robbie has previously spoken about Harley’s Suicide Squad costume, revealing that several options were considered, including the jester suit. Although we won’t see Harley in her trademark red-and-black costume in the movie, it looks like the movie has still found a way to pay homage to her signature look.
Suicide Squad is directed by David Ayer and also stars Will Smith as Deadshot, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Boomerang, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Karen Fukuhara as Katana and Academy Award winner Jared Leto as The Joker. The film will premiere on August 5.

The costumes of the show were amazing. They made each person look like their actual character. My favorite costume of the show was my costume as the Lion. What really impressed me about my costume choice was the fur jacket I had over my Lion suit. I also loved how each of the main characters’ costumes were unique in its own way. My second favorite costume of the show had to have been The Wiz himself. Dontae’s costume was very unique as well. Since The Wiz himself was very grand, he had…

Lizzie Borden did not have time to commit the murder and then change cloths before the police arrived. Lizzie borden would have been wearing an elaborate out fit that would of had blood on it if she had committed the crime. There was a small spot of blood on her dress but if she would did committed the murder, there would have been way more blood on her dress. Who ever kill Lizzie’s parents left that house covered in blood. “It was the woman who as the social representatives of their husbands showed the world how sorrowing the family was by wearing clothes and following little rules that reflected this” (Weston). In the year of 1892, fashion showed wealth and power. That day Lizzie would have been wearing a cotton dress, with tight sleeves and puffs that extended almost horizontal from the shoulders. A hooped…

And the characters keep getting creepier. Gotham does a great job in eliciting discomfort. The guns, uncomfortable hospital-lighting, blinking lights, and their themes and outfits are eerie. This discomfort is part of why this show is clever and pulls you into seeing more. Guns and black are epitomes of power in this film; a symbol because guns are Batman's most hated weapon.…

The superhero universe is one that is vast and complex. Although my passion is helping others, if I could switch places with a superhero or villain of my choosing, I wouldn't hesitate to select a villain. More specifically, I would pick Harley Quinn. Although ostensibly, Harley is an obsessed psychopath who goes to great lengths just for her significant other, the Joker, her character goes much deeper. Harley, unlike most superheroes and villains, who are simply concerned with world domination or saving the world as a whole, is aware of social issues that are brought up today. For example, in one episode of the Batman television show, a police asks Harley to read him his rights in a sexual context, and she proceeds to teach him a lesson. Harley…

But as becomes clear over the course of the novel, appearances are extremely important to Katniss’s survival. The author’s focus on Cinna’s dresses subtly emphasizes this theme by forcing the reader to take notice of Katniss’s appearance. Katniss’s dress for the opening ceremony, we learn, makes her (and Peeta, who is similarly dressed) stand apart from the other tributes. The significance of this move isn’t fully clear until Katniss is in the arena and in need of sponsors. By making her stand out, the dress makes her popular, and this popularity is amplified by the public romance she shares with Peeta. Consequently, she becomes more likely to receive gifts, and these gifts actually turn out to be vital to her…
