The Holocaust has been put down as one of the most awful and horrifying events in world history. It is impossible for someone to understand and see what the victims of the Holocaust had to go through. Millions of people died because someone couldn't see past the outer shell of a person and judged them because of who they were. That person was Adolf Hitler. He brain washed tons of people into agreeing in his opinion. He wanted the “perfect” race and would kill anyone in the way of his wish, like Jews, Gypsies, Poles, and people with physical or mental disabilities. He put innocent people through the absolute worst conditions and had no mercy.

They could use a fake papers like birth certificates to get real documents under an assumed name from the authorities. These tricks caused great risks since the Germans and police forces closely examined identity documents in their frequent searches for Jews. If a child could not pass a christian because they looked like a jew, did not speak the local language, or would cause to many questions, they often would have hiding places in their rescuers. They hid in cellars and attics, where they couldn't make a sound or move because if they were found they could be killed. It was very difficult to find a rescuers to take care of a Jewish child. Many people would take advantage of how desperate parents were by taking their money, then even worse, would turn them over to authorities for an extra reward. It showed us how powerful and influential a person can be. Adolf Hitler convince millions of people that being different is a crime and you should be punished if you were different. That caused millions of innocent people to die and be tourcherd with no mercy. We learn about the Holocaust so it doesn't happen again.
