When you think of a tomb you essentially think of the pyramids in Egypt but really a tomb is a house or a home for the dead. A tomb does not have to be a pyramid. Even the first tombs were not pyramids. They were made of two slaps and a stone roof.

Do the advancements in science and technology change the architecture of the tombs? Let us look back the very first tomb like I said was made of two slaps and a stone roof. That was in the stone ages. If you fast forward a couple hundred years people are building big pyramids as tombs. The step pyramid of Djoser was the first tomb that was shaped like a pyramid and made of stone. That is when they started making big tombs made of stone and brick. Humans could not build these without pullies. A Pulley is a piece of technology and machinery, So yes tombs did change their architecture as technology
