Building a strong team that can rely on others is an important base component of our organization. “It is helpful to conceptualize a decentralized leadership as a “goose rule,” where a goose flock must shift leadership in an effort to maximize energy decay” (Rosen, 2008, p. 4). Open communication between employees and management is encouraged to allow operational growth and create a supportive environment. When employees feel that they can offer their ideas to a manager and have the ideas implemented there is a sense of accomplishment towards their work

The human body can be researched, analyzed, and studied in seven ways. Each way offers humans a better understanding of how the body works when in both states of health and disease. The first way to organize the contents of the human body is by body planes and body directions. “A plane is an imaginary flat surface that divides the body into two parts” (Turley, 2011). There are three planes in which to choose from. The first is coronal (frontal) plane. This plane will show a flat picture of the body as if it were cut in half from front to back. The second is the sagittal plane. This will show a flat picture of the body as if it were cut in half from left to right. The third is the transverse plane. This will show the body as if it were cut in the middle into two sections known as the superior and inferior sections. To move towards the head means to move in the cephalad direction and to move towards the tail bone means to move in the caudad direction. There are other terms that describe similar movements. These include: distal (moving down the arm or leg) and proximal (moving up the arm or leg) direction. To move in a medial direction means to move towards the center of the body and to move in a lateral direction means to move away from the center of the body. To move in an anteroposterior direction means moving from the outside of the body from the anterior and to move in an posteroanterior direction means moving from the outside of the body from the posterior side. MRI’s and X-rays use body planes to photograph the inside of the human body by “use[ing] magnetic energy and radio waves to create cross-sectional images or ‘slices’ of the human body” (Imaginis Corp., 1997-2012). This gives health care providers the ability to see inside the body without having to operate.…

For the past 3 years, I have worked for a company called 2020 communications. This company has many different contracts with other companies like Verizon, T-Mobile, and other wireless providers. As a Territorial Manager I do not work for these global wireless companies, we manage the territories and make sure that the actual stores are selling the company’s products and services. 2020 Communications has a simple structure that consists of a single individual that runs the company. Under that individual there are 2 district managers and then there are territorial managers that work directly for the company. I am contracted to work for T-Mobile to manage 9 locations. In the company in which i work for they have a vertical organizational structure. The Thing that separates us from the cooperate locations is that we don’t have to worry about inventory and the stores themselves, we just focus on the sales in the stores and that’s all. We have one centralized headquarters in Dallas Texas, in which the CEO and the Human Resource team is located. As a company we don’t focus too much on the customer concerns and issues, that is the responsibility of the corporate stores. We tend to assist when we can to help the profit margin and the selling process of each location, but it is the job of the location and there management team to manage every other aspect of the company including inventory and the sales associates themselves.…

Social networks have a fairly simple organizational structure. The most popular social networks are Facebook and Twitter. Facebook is a social network set up where people can add friends and see the messages that their friends post to their timeline. Friends can also comment on and like messages of other friends. Twitter is similar to Facebook in the sense that one can see the messages that are posted by people that they follow, but there is no need to follow someone in order to send and receive messages from them. Messages, called tweets, can be sent to anyone from anyone with a twitter account, and they can also be…

Open communication was also mentioned in the Enthusiastic Employee. This is important because it allows for transparency between managers and staff. It helps because if there is open communication/ transparency from the higher-ups and everyone knows what is going on, there won’t be misunderstanding from staff because this takes the guess work out. We have mentioned in class that, as humans, we fill in the blanks. We only need partial information and we fill in what’s missing, and we usually think the worst. Open communication is vital to organizational…
