The Social Cognitive theory includes the reciprocal determinism, the three factors include environmental, personal, and behavior factors. The results to our behaviorism can be either, a positive or negative consequence depending on environmental factors of modeling, and vicarious learning. Self-efficacy being the most important of the SCT, mainly because it forms the basis of the Self-Efficacy Theory, and plays a role in the Health Belief Model and Transtheoretical Model. Self- Efficacy applies to my health behavior, physical activity, because, change comes from within and it is my belief that with planning I would be able to perform 30 minutes of physical activity each day. Therefore, with the help of social support who are preforming physical activity also, I can continue this behavior.
