America's health care system is hardly so to speak one of the best in the world. Yes, it is true that there are things the country has improved on and lead the world in but those things deal with the healthcare system in the slightest. Overall America leads and falls in different categories along the lines of healthcare systems in the world. Our healthcare system is one jumbled mess of many different things rolled into one. ("We are very good in treating highly specialized conditions after they have already developed — that's why people come from all over the world to get that treatment,"). So yes people come from from all over the world for treatment of diseases that have been discovered but we fail at treating patients at lower levels of healthcare. America has failed to provide much primary care, and public health services that affect the overall population of the United States. As well as failing to provide lower level healthcare to the basic citizens, America spends more money on healthcare than any other country but it still does not go back into helping the normal citizen.
