The paper defines the term professional identity as it relates to health promotion professionals, explore the professional agencies and bodies that guide the provision of quality services and explore the techniques used by these authorities to monitor the quality and quantity of health offered. The scope of the paper related to health promotion. The area focuses on how the health promotion officer implements their projects in the field. Health professional mostly working for the community and other health organizations are aware that promoting the health wellness of the community and lifestyles greatly helps in eliminating the burden experienced by the poor and other populations (Davies et al., 2014). For each profession there are an organization that helps in formulating the codes, guidelines, and standards to ensure the participants benefits and the patients. In addition, these agencies and bodies have a lot of influence in ensuring that the output and the incomes lead to the desired outcomes (Kelly et al., 2015).
