She soon saw that he was able to do amazing creations even with his body mistakes she realized that his deformity did not matter. After she forgave him, she asked Zeus to return him back to his place at Olympus, but Hephaestus was still angry and replied no.So Zeus then sent his Hephaestus' brother Dionysus to intoxicate him, but Hephaestus had never gotten drunk or drunken wine before. He then found out a way to make him drunk and persuade him back to Olympus. Now Hephaestus was back at his rightful place and he was an Olympian again. bothered. Hephaestus later married Aphrodite. They got married by arrangement of Zeus because he thought that there would be hate between the gods. Hephaestus and Aphrodite were not happily married. Aphrodite did not like Hephaestus because he was ugly and lame. She would often cheat on him with the other gods. Hephaestus would make more than just tools. Hephaestus made palaces, thrones, tripods, and more for the Olympian gods. Hephaestus also made items for people like Hercules breastplate, the shield of Achilles, the bed of Helios, and many more. Whenever someone needed something to be made they talked to Hephaestus.
