Hephaestus
Hephaestus, the god of fire and metalworking, used his talents and power to help Olympus in war and structure. Hephaestus is one of the most important gods in Olympus. Hephaestus built things that the other gods used. Without Hephaestus, Olympus would not be where it is at. Hephaestus was smart, strong, hardworking, and brave.
Hephaestus was the son of Zeus and Hera. Hephaestus was also said to just be the son of Hera so that she could get revenge on Zeus for cheating with Metis and giving birth to Athena. Hephaestus had 14 brothers and sisters. Hephaestus was the only god that was ugly and lame. When Hephaestus was born he was ugly making Hera mad. Hera was so mad that she threw him off of Mount Olympus into the seas. This made his leg lame and crippled. It was said that Hephaestus fell for 9 days and 9 nights. Hephaestus used his talents and inventions to trick people who tricked him. He tricked Aphrodite after he found her cheating with his brother Ares. He exposed them all to Olympus by making an invention where it showed them in bed so everyone could see. After Hera realized that Hephaestus was the one who had trapped her she forgave him. She soon saw that he was able to do amazing creations even with his body mistakes she realized that his deformity did not matter. After she forgave him, she asked Zeus to return him back to his place at Olympus, but Hephaestus was still angry and replied no.So Zeus then sent his Hephaestus' brother Dionysus to intoxicate him, but Hephaestus had never gotten drunk or drunken wine before. He then found out a way to make him drunk and persuade him back to Olympus. Now Hephaestus was back at his rightful place and he was an Olympian again. When Hephaestus returned to Olympus, he decided to work and live underground where he could not be
