Archetype of Hermione Granger
In the Harry potter novels,J.K. Rowling uses the Archetype of a witch to create Hermione Granger with the following:Sympathetic, Compassionate and Stands up for herself and her friends.
I feel like Hermione Granger best demonstrates these 3 characteristics and they fit her the most in a way.Hermione Granger is a good witch,she's the good guy in all the movies and novels she's in helping out Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.that kinda comes down to sympathetic and compassionate,when her friends or anyone needed her she was there for them through the good and the bad at time helping them through it.In the early books and movies when she was getting picked on she didnt really take it,she always stood up for herself not

    A witch is defined as a person who has made a deal with Satan (Witch-Hunt, 33). It is believed that the witch gave up his/her soul in exchange for the capacity to channel Satan’s power.     Women who didn’t act like “proper women” were outcast as witches. For instance, if a woman were not obeying her husband’s every command then she wasn’t playing the expected gender role, therefore she was a witch. Outcasts were different, otherwise they wouldn’t be outcasts. People who were exiled were weird in that they lived life their own way, making people judge and want to get rid of them. If a person who was considered an outcast were using herbs as medicine or staying out late and spending time alone, then they were persecuted as witches. A woman accused of being a witch said that she was pinpointed as being a witch because society saw her as different.
