Heroes
A hero is typically someone legendary or someone of great strength or ability. In my opinion a hero is not just a person you see every day or a celebrity in which you think is cool. A hero is someone who works hard for everything! In some cases a hero to some people, is someone who loves them, and won’t stop loving them. My hero is, my mom, in my eyes she is extraordinary because she stands out. My mom is the role model, in my life and in my mind worthy of my admiration. My mom loves me unconditionally, encourages me, is always there for me, puts my life before her own, makes me happy when I am sad, stands up for me, and walks in when the rest of the world walk out. She is sincere, she doesn’t pretend to be somebody that she is not. My mom is a single parent who works hard daily to support myself as well as my 8 year old brother. Yes, it is a struggle but she gives smiles freely as if it is easy. She had raised me to be a good child, which was a good accomplishment. Because she never really had the chance to pursue her dreams, one thing she always told me was “practice really does make perfect” in other words never give up and if you fail, keep trying until you have fulfilled you goal. I thought that was just a saying, but now it makes a lot of sense. She also taught me how to roll with change, for the simple fact that life comes with many changes and you have to prepare yourself to take them on rather they are good or bad changes. Equality is a hero because he had the courage to venture beyond his comfort zone and set forward on an unknown path. He is a hero because he willingly went up against the odds, and in doing so, managed to find his true identity. Equality learned to love, he created a name, made an invention all alone, and overall found happiness in solitude rather than within a group. What caught my attention most in his story was the hardships and obstacles he overcame. Equality gained wisdom and knowledge
