He carried out his schemes against the government in a way that made him easily believable. His ability to operate incognito was partially the reason he succeeded. His choice of words was appropriate and appeared to understand well the system he was fighting. Evey on the other hand, played her part well especially when she kept changing her clothes to fit the occasion.
5. Myth
Hero. V’s power and ability to accomplish mission corresponds to that of the Hero as portrayed in page 36 of our textbook. He rescues Evey from the men who wanted to rape her. He bombed the city and ably eluded the security apparatus for a long time.

One of the subjects effectively tackled in the movie is that of politics and/or governance. V’s mission is to bring down the unjust government by causing disturbance and destruction. Apart from using his destructive means, he uses broadcast messages to highlight the ills of the system and urges people to ‘free’ themselves from injustices. But V also appears to be driven by the motive of revenge against the system for wrongs done to him.
