It is widely known that a good education is an indispensable and important quality to have in life. To achieve that good education, one must not only graduate from high school, but also from college. From the students standpoint of view there are similarities and differences between the two different educations. To compare and contrast them is quite out of place, because they are two completely different worlds, each with their own individual qualities. Nevertheless, there are differences as well as similarities among these two worlds. Hence, these educational institutions can be compared and contrasted with reference to teachers and classes as well. High school is considered to be a routine. High school teachers verbally explain what is expected throughout the duration of each semester in comparison with those in college. In other words, all of materials given to the students are precisely clarified, and everything is spoon-feed; students accurately know the teachers’ expectations. What is more, a teacher acts as a facilitator towards students; he or she helps them discover their own ways of learning, and improves students’ confidence and interest in learning process. As far as classes are concerned, in high school, they are very strict. Attendance in high school is obligatory, and it is expected with parents and administration approving any absences. Moreover, not only the number of students in a class, in high school, is restricted to approximately twenty five students per class, but also the number of hours, in which lessons are conducted, limit to nearly seven or eight per day.
