Introduction
1.1 Background
The Bachelor of Business Administration is a bachelor’s degree in business studies. Bachelor of Business Administrator (BBA) in Nepal introduced in 1997 and revised in 2003 the BBA program is four year 120 credits hours bachelor degree program. It designed to provide students with the business and management skills necessary to become effective leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs in today's competitive economy. The degree offers both a practical management education and enough breadth in complementary academic subjects to prepare students to function effectively in complex organizations, small to medium enterprises, or the public sector. Initial study toward this B.B.A. concentration can be in a wide variety of disciplines. Students should ideally, complete 60 credits acceptable for the BBA degree, including general education requirements, foundation courses in accounting and computing, and, university-level electives.
The Program enables you to become competent, skill, confidence, and results –oriented professional who can effectively support management and leadership roles in business and social organizations. It emphasizes problem –solving competence and skills, which are very critical for organization to succeed and grow in today’s competitive environment. It also improves your critical and creative thinking, analytical ability and communicative and presentation skills.
BBA is a completion program that provides students with a solid grounding in the core knowledge and competencies required in today’s diverse, global, and technologically sophisticated business environment. Business Administration majors gain a working knowledge of the principles and concepts of management theory and practice by examining the interrelationships among the major business disciplines. Through case studies and demonstrations, students evaluate practical applications of the manager’s role in planning, organizing, staffing, directing,
