HISTORY OF THE PROJECT
Fuji Auto Supply started since 1987 is managed by Melchora C. Francisco at # 109 Kamias Road Quezon city. The company have 3 workers and more than 50 suppliers. They sell their products through phone and walk-in and the target of this company is near by area.how do they records they record their products? Fuji Auto Supply also encounters many problems concerning their way of recording and tracking their sales and inventory. Another concern of the business is having some miscalculations regarding on the number or quantity of products that was sold or left in the establishment. To conclude the situation, the owner may lead to have inconsistencies regarding on the records of their products.
To solve these problems, the researchers will create a sales and inventory system that can help the owner and its employees in recording and tracking of products. The system has the ability to add, edit, and delete the needed datain the database with the help of human intervention. It can also monitor the products that are already sold or left in the establishment. Having this kind of system, it can prevent miscalculations and errors to make it more efficient and less time consuming to the user(s).
General Objective The general objective of this study is to develop and design an automated Sales and Inventory System that will help the business to solve their problems on their records and transactions
Scope and limitations of the project
The proposed study is about the development of Sales and Inventory System of Fuji Auto Supply. The study is only limited for Fuji Auto Supply. The proposed system has the capability to track, monitor and gives an alert if a specific product reaches the minimum allowance stock amount. The system is provided with a Barcode Reader for easy scanning of products with its product description, price, and availability. Barcode reader will be useful for selling and receiving new delivery to eliminate manual encoding to
