Through the combination of these theoretical approaches on how human characteristics are represented in behavior through different variables in their lives, Hitler's decisions in his rule of Nazi Germany can be rationalized to a psychological extent in which his personality had been affected by many factors throughout his entire life, beginning in the earliest stages of his life. Hitler’s childhood influences were the greatest factors in his odd psyche, as he was affected so greatly by the environment he lived in. Hitler being different from others made him an outcast, and his fixations made it hard for him to interact normally with other humans, which led to him isolating himself and sinking deeper
in his obsession over the success of the motherland, Germany. All of the approaches come together as they all link back to each other, which give the entire concept of psychoanalysis in psychology a more rational background. Psychology can be applied to any subject, in this case, history, and play a role in huge historical events, such as Nazi Germany and the Holocaust caused through the reign of Adolf Hitler. Many do not pay attention to the details of many single party state leaders that act seemingly aggressive and immediately believe these figures are “crazy”, meanwhile their psychology can be analyzed and explained to a certain extent. Sigmund Freud presented a whole new level of analysis to the psychological filed when he introduced the different sections of psychoanalysis. The ways in which Freud used the human nature and took into account how the natural instincts played part in the development of a humans psyche is fascinating to a new level that is incomparable to any different analysis. The theories he published were especially applicable to this concept when considering that Hitler was a baffling personality to all that were influenced by him, and these theories in particular give more insight into how a complex mind like Adolf Hitler’s could have functioned in a way that wasn’t obvious to the normal eye in the mid 1900’s.
