Hmou Ounamir's Story
Once upon a time there was a very handsome and intelligent young boy named Hmou Ounamir. He had lost his father when he was very young. His mother took care of him and did everything to make him happy. She saw in him the image of her late father. He was an incomparable beauty, which made him irresistible in the eyes of all the young girls of his village.

He attended the Koranic school from his youngest age. His master provided him a prosperous future. The years passed and the boy became a man beautiful and strong. All young girls the approached, would be only to get him a few kind words. They dreamed all to be his wife.

Hmou Ounamir was surrounded himself with a big mystery, that he was keeping secretive. He woke himself up every morning

Hmou Ounamir finally understood the grief of his wife; He understood that his mother was the origin. He discovered that his mother had succeeded in penetrating the house, and she had attacked her dear wife. Hmou Ounamir suffered terribly, his condition worsened from day to day, he lost his appetite and had become very puny. He finally plunged into a deep silence.

One day he decided to go on a journey to look for his wife, he warmly saluted his mother and saddled his faithful horse. He traversed the plains and mountains. He stopped in a village where he met an old man of great wisdom. Hmou Ounamir told him his story. The old man spoke to him of a mysterious mountain, which he pointed out to him. He tells him :
"My son, on the summit of this mountain you will find an eagle." He can take you to the seventh heaven, provided you submit to his demands. Hmou Ounamir got back on his horse and headed for the famous mountain.

Arrived at this mountain, his heart beat very hard, shivering was gaining him, tears streaming down his face: he remembered his dear wife.

Tired of traveling through the plains and mountains, Hmou Ounamir decided to rest a few moments to regain his strength. He began to

They looked tenderly at each other and embraced each other. Her little child contemplated the embrace of her parents for a long time and ran to them.
Then his wife sets another condition for their happiness: Hmou Oumanir must never raise the lid of a hole through which one can see the earth.
Hmou Ounamir was overwhelmed with immense joy, accepted the condition of his wife.

He was filled with joy, until the day when he fell ill, and a great sadness conquer him. His state was accentuated when he remembered his mother. She had sacrificed her youth to raise him. His desire to see her became so strong that he thought he was transgressing the interdict, then he thought of the stone told by his wife one day. This stone hides a hole, this place was forbidden to humans.

He lifted the stone with force and saw his mother, who had become blind by tears of her departure. It was the day of the feast of sacrifice, his mother held a sheep and called her son to perform the ritual of sacrifice.
Shocked by his mother's desperate call, he felt guilty of leaving his mother so, he threw his sword but it did not reach her. He began to think for a moment and

    The narrator first hears about Zaabalwi from his father. His father says "he's a true saint of God, a remover of worries and troubles, were it not for him I would have died miserably. This remarks makes the narrator refer to Zaabalwi as person who posses healing powers and he goes on a mission to find this person. The narrator goes on a mission to find Zaabalwi because this character is very hard to find and many people haven't seen him in a while.
