People want to be heard as they object to situations around our country. Demanding change isn't for the weak at heart. In today's world the element of being seen also very important. It's relevant to bring the message to the people and with so many people demanding attention of the cameras, people need to get creative. Reaching out in Hollywood is brilliant in a number of ways. Of course, there are all the visitors in the LA are right now. Yes, they take photos and share with their friends back home. Even if this is out of country, it still spreads a message.
Protesters Paradise?
Don't forget there is the subtle impact that many protesters do realize (but few discuss). The chance to impact the entertainment business as well. Perhaps you won't see a major star walking around when protesting, but it's highly possible you could brush by a show's staff member or even a writer of a show. It's definitely a protesters paradise on Hollywood Boulevard when considering all the possible influence they could have if someone working at a show is moved by the message. This scenario happens all the time when if comes to movies, shows and even videos. So why couldn't it happen for a protest too?
Hollywood might be on break right now, but when the shows come back in the fall, expect to see all the civil unrest being captured in some of the prime time elements of programming. With all the protesting in the area, it's impossible
