Homelessness In The World “Home, Sweet, Home” or “There is nothing like a good home-cooked meal.” 100 million people are unable to say things like these due to homelessness. The comfort of a bed and having a place to your own are taking for granted by many people. There are many people that unfortunate to having these necessities of living. The reasons for homelessness are many, but there are also several of different solutions to end this world problem. As people of the world, we should come to together to bring the problem of homelessness to an end. What is homelessness? Many people have a stereotypical idea of what homelessness is and what homeless people look like and etc. Some stereotypes for the homeless are they are drug addict or mentally ill, they are too lazy to work, it’s their fault they ended up homeless. When thinking of what a homeless person looks like, many people think dirty hair and clothes, body odor and etc. This is not always the case. By definition is homelessness is not having a home or permanent residence, but homelessness means something different to everyone in the world. In society homeless people’s treatment is degraded due to their looks. The causes of homelessness are many in this world. One of causes is the unemployment the lack of jobs in America. People are unable to the pay the expenses of housing, electricity, water and food. Another cause is the government not taking any action and not giving money to help the homeless more. Abandonment by families which can cause orphans who are most likely to become homeless. Other causes are natural disasters which ruin peoples home and leave them with nothing.
