UNIKLO is a one type of private organization. I briefly define about this organization below,
UNIQLO is a Tokyo based fashion and clothing company. It is a fast growing company, one of the five biggest specialty fashion retailers in the world. The company makes T-shirts, jeans, and casual wear for both women and men. It is owned by Fast Retailing, a Hiroshima based company. UNIQLO has shops in 11 countries. The main shop is Japan. There are many shops around the world, USA, China, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and the UK
In 1997, Fast Retailing adopted a set of strategies from American retailer The Gap, known as "SPA" (for specialty-store/retailer of private-label apparel), meaning that they would produce their own clothing and sell it exclusively. Uniqlo had begun outsourcing their clothing manufacturing to factories in China where labor was cheap, a well-established corporate practice. Japan was in the depths of a recession at the time, and the low-cost, high-quality goods proved popular. Their advertising campaigns also proved fruitful.
UNIQLO Basic Principle
The Fast Retailing Group has established a framework to fulfill its corporate social responsibilities. It emphasizes and raises awareness of compliance-related issues across the entire FR Group.
