rate about this, but thinking back now I’m glad she did that because it should me that I don’t want to be a person that debilitates a person with mean words. That’s why from now on I will only look down on people when I’m helping them up, and I’m so glad that Honors English showed me I could be better than what I am now and that even after high school I will be given the chance to help people. Looking back one of the most influential assignments were the grammar videos.
When we were first assigned those, everyone hated the idea that we the Honors Students were the only ones that had to do them, not only once but twice. I’m not going to lie and say that I loved them, because I didn’t, but I will say that by doing those videos I learned that working with someone else isn’t always going to be easy with anything I chose to pursue. After high school I will know how to handle myself in a situation where I’m doing all the work, because I’m not going to give my boss something that isn’t best quality. All though we dreaded it all year the American Dream project was my favorite throughout the whole year. This was a project that Mrs. Switzky said we would be proud of, and I’m pretty sure we all are. It showed us what shaped our country, our minds, and our futures. After that project I somewhat, not completely have my life figured out. After high school I know where I want to go in the world and what I want to be, but I also know the journey’s going to be hard so I’ll have to work for that and do my
best. So 10 years from now, I’ll be inspiring, kind, and lifting people up not pushing them down. I’ll know how to work with difficult people, and cherish the times when I work with inspirational people. And I’ll be pursuing a career that I love and with a family that loves me. These realizations all were possible because of you Mrs. Switzky, always challenging us to be better than we were yesterday, and I am so thankful for the opportunity to have you as a teacher, even if I times I saw you as difficult when I should’ve saw you as a motivator.
