I believe that World War II could have been prevented by the US being more involved in other countries problems. The US could’ve stepped in when Hitler asked to take over those territories. Also I think World War II could’ve have been prevented by keeping peace between each country and stopping Hitler before he got to powerful. If the Allied powers have taken action it might have prevented the outbreak of World War II.
For example:

* If the US sent troops into the territories being invaded by Hitler and provide military presence. This action might have prevented World War II by Hitler backing down which would lead to Hitler not being so powerful. This action was not taken because of the Great Depression and Isolationism.

*If Japan didn’t attack the American fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. This action might have prevented World War II by the US not declaring war with Japan, Germany and Italy. This action was not taken because Japan was angry at the US because the US refused to sell oil and scrap metal to Japan.

*The US also could have tried to talk to each country and have them keep the peace between each other due to the harsh Treaty of Versailles. This action might have prevented World War II by Germany not having economic crisis and social pressures and Adolph Hitler not coming to rise. This action was not taken due to revenge and Isolationism.

*Britain and France could have been more strict to Hitler and realized Hitler was a liar earlier. This action might have prevented World War II by Hitler not having taken over those territories. This action was not taken because Britain and France were weak and didn’t want another

At the end of World War I, there were numerous fearful and terrible damages that happened in the world. The Allies shifted responsibilities to the Central Powers, especially to Germany. As a result, countries, such as the Ottoman Empire and the Austrian-Hungarian Empire were divided into a couple of small countries. Meanwhile, Germany needed a leader who would tide them over the crisis; and there was a leader, whose name was Hitler. As a military man, Adolf Hitler was fatigued by the debt that had to be paid for all the compensation from World War I. One of the reasons why Hitler planned to start another war was that he could not pay all of the debt back and make proper compensation for World War I. However, Europeans and Americans ignored the threats of Germany as none of their business, and then World War II became the world’s business. There was a plethora of “war guilt” during World War II, for example, persecution of the Jews caused the war to be more painful. World War II is the most important event in history because it brought many results into the world; for example, World War II proved to be the most costly war in history, the number of deaths and amount of money lost during the war transformed the political, social, and economic situations in Europe, the world divided into two “super powers”, and one of the visible results of World War II was the creation of the United Nations.…

The United States did not want to be involved in a second world war. They did everything they could including signing the Kellogg-Briand Pact along with sixty-two other countries, passing a series of Neutrality Acts, and isolating themselves from other countries. As America continued to grow and become totally isolated, they ran into conflict. The isolationism put an effect on President Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s foreign policy. To solve this, President Roosevelt strongly spoke out against isolationism.…

The United States should have participated in World War II. There were many reasons for that cause. One was that the United States fought for democracy in World War II. The United States was once a colony of Britain and was treated badly. In the same way, European and Asian countries were being tortured by the Axis powers during World War II.…

The United States before and after the beginning of World War II prided itself on independence and isolation from foreign affairs. The U.S. already had to intervene in World War I, helping to create the Treaty of Versailles against Germany, and did not wish to repeat history in World War II. Germany, being angry of this treaty, began an uprising under the authority of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. Revolts spread throughout all of Europe, causing the creation of various alliances, mainly the Allied and Axis Powers. The United States still held its standpoint of isolationism and did not interfere with or support any war effort; that is, until Japan made an attempt to seize China, which was a strong trade nation for the U.S.…

In conclusion, the benefits of punishing Germany didn’t outweigh the drawbacks. In short, Germany was made to accept full blame for World War I, being required to pay reparations for all the damages done to the allied countries with the War Guilt Clause. This drawback left Germany locally humiliated and ruined. After Germany's worldwide humiliation, the Germans were ready to accept such a leader as Adolph Hitler, who promised to make their country powerful again and regain its boundaries. Therefore, it was a bad idea for the Big Four to punish Germany because if they didn’t there…

Therefore to contain it, there was no capable power in sight, as the war had ravaged the rest of powerful states to such an extent that they were not even able to feed their people. In that case of scenario, US abandoned her policy of isolationism and entered the world politics to neutralize the red menace. After the Second World War, when the treaty of Versailles was signed and Europe had got the sigh of relief, US seemed no reason to entangle herself anymore in the European…

Another result of appeasement was Hitler gaining the support he needed as time passed. Lastly, Germany took control of Austria. The Holocaust and many other events could have been avoided if the world leaders did not choose to give in to the demands of Hitler. Even though the world leaders thought they were doing the right thing to protect their nation by standing by and doing nothing as Hitler went forth with his plans, they were actually hurting their countries even more because by choosing to appease Hitler, they allowed him to do things that would change the world…

World War II is the cruel, black scar that marks the back of the Twentieth century. After World War I the seeds of World War Two were planted through the unbearable burdens put on the German people from the infamous treaty of Versailles. With the rise of the notorious dictator Hitler, the German people were hungry for a new beginning. Appeasement was one of the biggest things that lead to World War II. It basically just postponed the War from happening. Leaders arose in countries that were unsatisfied with the results of the past war, World War I. Italy, Germany and Japan took action and no one was stopping them. The Most effective response to aggression at this time was surely collective security. Using Appeasement got the countries nowhere…

France and UK came up with the policy of appeasement which was a policy with nazi germany that would allow hitler to take a lot more land than he was supposed to. After the Germans agreed to not use unrestricted submarine warfare, and remained peaceful with the US, Germany tried to make allies with those who had bad relations ((())) with America, such as Mexico by sending the Zimmermann Telegram to Mexico on January 16, 1917. Although this didn’t cause a disturbance in the opinions of the citizens, it was starting to cause tension. . This shows how it was a good thing to join((()) the war because after the numerous amounts of warnings, Germany thought too lightly of America. Additionally, during World War 1, Britain was taking loans from America due to the amount they had to pay for the army. If America didn’t help out, Britain would have been taken over by the Germans and the debt would have been gone like it never existed, or,…

“The War was decided in the first twenty days of fighting, and all that happened afterwards consisted in battles which, however formidable and devastating, were but desperate and vain appeals against the decision of Fate.” The following statement was made by Winston Churchill (Prime Minister of Britain from 1940-45), and truly shines some light on multiple aspects of the World War I. During the First World War, which occurred from 1914-1918 and involved the majority of the European countries, the United had initially agreed to remain out of conflict, assuming that isolationism was the ultimate strategy. Yet as the war progressed, the United States of America (USA) was pushed to take the Allied side in order to ensure that Germany does not gain too much power and that balance remains both politically and economically in Europe. Rather than to blame the German Expansionist regime (which was not proven to exist prior to 1914) just as Fritz Fischer did, one can analyze and determine which events or policies led to US entry of the war, and to what degree they can be attributed. This includes the Zimmerman note, Economic affairs, and neutrality, which have all involved German threats to United States security and general safety.…

The retaliation of the Japanese had the world concerned by the oppression of military actions and to reveal power during the modern era (1900’s). The strategy of the Japanese empire was to focus on Pearl Harbour, located in Hawaii, by a Surprise assault in the morning. The purpose was to prevent the U.S Pacific Fleet from interfering with military actions in which the Japanese empire had planned in SEA (South East Asia) against England, Netherlands and the U.S .This event had caused the vengeance of the U.S to repel the damage caused at Pearl Harbour with the atomic bomb towards Hiroshima and other regions of the southern Japan. "To a greater or lesser extent, three factors were involved in explaining U.S response to Japanese and German aggression, economics, national security, and democratic values," these factors influenced Franklin Roosevelt foreign policies from 1937 to 1941. America's Involvement in World War two not only contributed in the eventual downfall of Adolph Hitler, but also came at the precise time and moment. Had the United States entered the war any earlier the consequences might have been worse.…
