Purpose: The purpose of the film is show how different people of different colored skin have more advantages over others simply because of the color of their skin. It also demonstrates how race is something that we have learned to distinguish within our society.

These might because we are a family of Mexicans that are living in a white culture. It honestly upset me so how certain people are able to gain acceptance or material objects just because of their skin color. We should all be treated equally, but that is not the way that society works.
Viewer exposure: This film dominantly exposes the viewers to many issues that are present. I believe that social, political and moral issues all arise from the thought that whites are able to access things easier or just have a better life because they are white and others have to struggle more because they are not white.
Viewer worldview: The viewer’s world view is expanded, the film brings up views about other skin colored people from all around the world trying to come together an be a part of community but get rejected because of their skin color or because they are not Caucasian. This I believe might make people what to work harder to get what they want and to demonstrate that skin color will not stop them from achieving their goal.
