The terrorist attacks which occurred on September 11, 2001 significantly impacted and changed the United States of America in many ways.
The attacks on the U.S increased national security, and made the country safer and more secure. New Immigration Laws were established which increased security, and determined whether or not refugees and immigrants could enter the country. Despite the many hardships that were endured, nationalism brought the nation together to recover from the attacks. Without the devastating attacks which occurred on September 11 the United States would not be as secure or as united together as a country.
