There are many ways we can inspire them to change their views about teaching. For instance, the main reason minorities don’t want to become educators is because the career doesn't pay well. We can start by raising the pay rate for all teachers throughout this country; this not only helps the minority's influence, but it also impacts more people to want to become educators without having to worry about the money. In personal belief, without teachers, there would be no other profession. So why is it that they get paid less? They get paid less for being different, and society discredits us from being different. Most minorities are not able to afford an education, and this is a problem. We should begin to assist them to be able to get a better education. They need to be able to get more financial aid, more student loans, and more scholarships for their thirst for knowledge. It is not only the fact that they need money for tuition purposes that they don't go to college for a teaching degree, but the fact that the job intimidates them from the frustrating hazards they would endure, such as poor working conditions, discipline problems, spreading school violence, and a lack of support from colleagues.
