This really sticks out to me because I am a student at Tennessee State University this past October there was a killing here on campus. Supposedly there was a dice game going on and next thing you know a gun gets involved and the next minute you have someone dead. While being first lady, she opposed a White House Summit on School Violence after the Columbine shooting. She also supported the Brady Bill; this bill instituted background checks on guns sold. While being senator, she voted for legislation to close the gun show clause by forcing criminal background checks on sells taking place at businesses that sell firearms.
