October 31st is the day people call a holiday it is known as Halloween. Halloween comes around once a year and every year it comes around different activities occur. Halloween have a lot of history over the years. In America people wear all different kinds of Halloween costumes. Some people even dress up as stuff you never seen or heard of.
Halloween has a lot of history it is mainly known for going door to door getting candy and playing fun games. This holiday and candy became best friends in the late 1940s. This tradition is very fun but tend to have a bad effect on the stomach and teeth. According to this article, an “average Jack-O-Lantern bucket carries about 250 pieces of candy amounting about 9,000 calories and about three pounds of sugar" ( Kawash Samira )Not only is this bad on the stomach and teeth bur it can also be bad on the wallet. I can only imagine what the dental bill is going to look like. Another great part of this tradition is many Halloween parties take place in many homes, schools and originations. This is truly a fun Holiday to celebrate. My family and I also like to celebrate this Halloween with and party and some good old fashion trick-or –treating. This is a time when we all can get together and have fun like we used to do.
