She believed that she knew exactly what was best for her country and Rasputin was only ever there to reassure her. Most of the time, Alexandra got her way as Tsar Nicholas II was timid and he trusted his wife. Whenever he tried to disagree with a point or decision Alexandra was making she would bring up Rasputin and therefore forcing him to make a religious choice based on the blessing of God or based on his own beliefs.
