How Did American States Gain Power In 1914

In 1914 Europe was considered an armed camp, and its politics were taken over or dominated by two rival alliances. When a United Germany was created, it disturbed the balance of power in Europe. Due to the fear of Germany, it encouraged France and Russia to form an alliance in 1894. Moving closer to World War I (WWI) Europe experienced faster and efficient economic growth and encouraged the ideas of Imperialism and Nationalism. Europe then later began to threaten the stability of multi-ethnic empires, especially Austria-Hungary and Russia. Amidst all of this, America decided to stay neutral and not get themselves into a mess, though America was a major supplier to the United Kingdom, France, and the other powers of the Allies of World War I.
Imperialism also resulted in the unequal distribution of resources and wealth, which also fueled resentment and dissatisfaction among the colonized populations, leading to nationalist movements and resistance against colonial rule. Imperialism exploited colonies for resources and labor, enriching the colonial powers while leaving many colonized people impoverished. Imperialism had many advantages to those countries which were rich in power and resources, but the complete opposite was to the nations that were taken over by the powerful nations and countries. The more powerful countries had made up their military forms to be as best as possible, and capable so they could expand into other nations and countries. Competition to have the most powerful military side leads to other sides to push their military services to strive further, causing competition to be the one to drive a wedge in between each other. We can also conclude that from Imperialism there comes rivalry between each other and other countries. When two nations or countries try to gain something that they both need or want, they keep in mind that only one of them can have it, and when the time comes where one of the countries or nations gets to the place first, the other country harbors a resentment towards the other place, even if the nations were alliances before. From many sources, they stated that the nations are like wolves, where they take everything they need and even more, and once they have everything they need, they start wanting more and more, and from that greediness we can compare that to the nations that use Imperialism. Once they find something that can be taken, they grasp it without any hesitation, and they only look for their benefit and not the result of the other nation being taken.
