How Did Benjamin Franklin Tell Me And I Forget
“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn”, Benjamin Franklin. Most people think of Ben franklin, they think about how he discovered how lighting generates electricity or the lighting rod. But most people don't know that he made hundreds of other inventions. Franklin could do many things. He has made multiple stories and has made multiple inventions. He was a inventor and a philosopher and had made multiple discoveries like how lighting can generate electricity.

Franklin at a young age, dropped out of school and after the age of 12 he was educating himself with the books that his brother that owns a printing trade. For his early life, he worked in his brothers printing press, he learned to write, read, and write poems. He even secretly wrote for the newspaper. He was very smart at his age because he had access to so many books and started writing poetry at a young age. Some of the poems he had written were published and even sold.

When he invented the eyeglasses he made two of them for different purposes. He said that he made one of them for reading close up and the other was made to see far away at a nice view. He also made a new type of oil lamp, oil lamps on the street often burned out quickly. Ben franklin made a new type of lamp, his lamp had a square shape and a hole on the top to draw up the smoke, his lamps lasted twice as long as the other and burned all night long.

Ben franklin showed intellect all through his life from when was a kid reading and writing to when he was an adult inventing. He educated himself when he was a kid and invented many inventions. He invented the bifocal glasses, the franklin stove, and more that we still use today. people believed that ben franklin shaped our history
