After his death in 1965, the Panthers took a deep consideration of his philosophy of gaining freedom “by any means necessary”. Before he passed, Malcolm X tried to help grow the Black Panthers party and help them with their goals but one he is not the one who told them to become violent. X was often asked to speak at Black Panther events to help people join the cause or at least understand what they were trying to do. Black Panthers wanted to educate the African Americans on their history because they felt that some of them have been “Whitened”. Basically, saying that they have forgotten about their history and forgetting where they came from, trying to educate them on what is happening in their environment. Years later, the Black Panthers had adopted 3 slogans. “Black Power”, The Ballot or The Bullet”, and “by any means necessary”.
