How Did British Imperialism Affect Asia

The British Imperialism had minimized a good percentage of local warfare, with having European military controlling the raids between tribes which had reduced. What good is all that, what is the whole fascination of the British Imperialism with Britain's hunger? Africans had lost control of their land as well as their independence.The quarrel included many nations of Europe such as: France, Great Britain, Germany,Spain, Italy, and Portugal. British Imperialism actually had a good impact in Asia. As Imperialism had become common throughout all of Asian modernization came along with it as a pair. Though as Asian as a whole there were negative affects many advancements had made up for it such as , technology advancements the establishments of
schools, hospitals,new forms of transportation,and communication. Colonies had expanded going into India over all the bad had outweigh the good that had been done to Asia. China happens to be one of our oldest nations and was a prosperous country was the most prosperous country. China had always had the most advanced technology so what could the West possibly offer China? Nothing, until they started selling Opium.China tried to ban the sale of opium which lead to the Opium War between China and Britain . China then lost control of Hong Kong to Britain. After the Opium war countries went after China making it split between Great Britain, France,Germany,Japan,and Russia. With all of this China had lost land and a lot of money.
The Imperialism had an effect on society in a positive way and in negative. For instance there were new transportation methods that were introduced new ways of communication such as telephones. Sanitation for hospitals had gotten better, they taught healthier habits, basic hygiene.
The imperialism had divided China with five Countries, had a war, and had Chin lose land and an abundant amount of mone. Asia had got schools and hospitals along with new transportation and ways of communication.The hospitals got more sanitized for the patients, though Great Britain had been hungry to gain land there were upsides to the Imperialism.
