Carver’s Incredible Impact During the time period of Robber Barons and monopolies, a brilliant inventor created many crucial inventions which most of us use every single day, including peanut butter, soap, and cosmetics as well as technological advances such as crop rotation used by farmers. George Washington Carver could have sought great fortune to his fame, but caring for neither, he found happiness, and honor in being helpful to the world. His numerous contributions to farming, education, and most famously his more than 300 peanut-based products he invented helped improve the quality of life for many people. Many Americans have not even noticed the incredible work of Carver, even though it deserved great attention. His opinion of God, and the positive interpretations of God were just as inspiring especially since many people believe that religious beliefs and scientific theories could not coexist. Carver heavily impacted income of Southern farmers in a great way. This brilliant thinker contributed to the economic improvement of the Southern farmer by offering alternative crops beneficial to them, and their land. He enlightened the homes of poor men, and women throughout the South, while giving hope to the next generation of farmers. As a teacher, Carver used a personal, hands-on method, and was not limited by the walls of a classroom, yet, his vision extended beyond his students, and Southern rural farmers to the national, and international communities. He strived to help his students to view the world as one whole community.
